The Story of Me
The Good, The Bad, The Lessons
Where should I start?
Well, of course my name is Juan Vega Rios. I am a Public Relations major studying at Emerson College in Boston, MA.
When I started my college career, I was a Cinema & Television Arts major. That why a good amount of my early experiences are video based. Along the way I decided to pick up a second major, Strategic Communications with two minors.
After a personal/medical crisis, I took a semester off from college to take care of myself. During this break (and countless therapy sessions) I started to reevaluate my life. We got to love that…
I decided to kiss North Carolina good bye and go off to a new school.
BUT!
I made a detour to Tampa, Florida because my current school didn’t give a decent financial aid package the first time. I call this period of my life “The Trial” semester because I was starting anew.
During this time, I started to grow more as a person and learning lessons I would NEVER have learned back in North Carolina. I appreciated this time so much as this is where the foundation of Juan 2.0 started.

Nevertheless,
Now I’m in Boston, Massachusetts at Emerson College as a Public Relation major. I decided to be a PR major because of the versatility. I love how I can use public relations in different industries like entertainment, sports, and politics to name a few. The reason why I am sharing my story is because it reflects the type of person I am; a resilient person who learns, adapts and progress until I accomplish my goals.
TL:DR
I moved across the East coast, grew as a person and got more determine to accomplish my goals
